Alright, so we wanted a pool that was girlfriend friendly ie. I didn't have kids at the time, no husband, and lived on my own so I wanted something that we could lay out in the sun in and drink cocktails in, and be safe! So, we essentially designed the layout with that solely in mind!
Rocco & Ruby are two very artistic children. Since before preschool they have constantly been creating - I know most of you have the same experience with your children! I do also know HOW MUCH they have created and over the years you just can’t keep it all - or you do and have no room or place left to put it.
So you all saw the playroom makeover post here. And saw how perfect everything was where everything had a perfect home? Well guess what? IT STILL LOOKS LIKE THAT. All of the organizational bins and materials Clutter Healing used to make homes for all of their art supplies, toys and everything else literally created just that - an actual HOME for everything to stay organized and not just hidden or thrown in a bin.
I have curated QUITE the collection. I've also used them to color block on my shelves. It is so pretty seeing all the books color coded with their spines. This specific one is curated with my favorite hue, PINK.
My daughter Ruby just turned 11. She is changing schools this year so I wanted to throw a special party for her and her friends. By "special" I mean at THE BEVERLY HILLS HOTEL - with a full onslaught of activities + plenty of unicorns.
I am one of those Women, that when they get an idea in their mind about something, they just have to do it themselves. Art is one of those things for me. If I can't find it in one google search I give up and move on. And by move on, I mean make it myself.
I am so thrilled to finally launch a platform where I can share everything going on in my life. From my kids and their adventures, to design + decor, traveling and make-up - this is your one stop shop for all things Jillian!
Years ago I transformed our back house into an open play space for the kids toys and a place for them to have fun (and keep their mess and mayhem out of plain view). Rocco & Ruby however, have outgrown MOST of their toys (bye, Frozen tent) and we wanted to make space for their new hobbies (hello drums and slime making), and make it a more mature area for them and their friends.
This week on Ruby & Roc we decided to lean in towards one of Rocco's favorite pastime - nerf guns. We had a quick duel to show how this goes down and created a little video of our experience. Let us know in the comments how you liked it and what you want us to review next!
THE ROC & RUBY SHOW
"Decor & design ARE NOT just making my house pretty... it is a lifelong interest and passion of mine.
Creating a space that not only looks good but is functional and timeless is my goal."
