Rocco & Ruby are two very artistic children. Since before preschool they have constantly been creating - I know most of you have the same experience with your children! I do also know HOW MUCH they have created and over the years you just can’t keep it all - or you do and have no room or place left to put it.
There was a very stark and lonely wall between the kids’ rooms to mine and where Ruby, Rocco and myself pass through often throughout the day. Instead of spending a ton of money on pretty prints or art that didn’t get to be seen often by guests, my design sense kicked in and the Children’s Art Gallery Wall was born!
It was a no brainer. I had these beautiful, expressive and colorful pieces that needed a home (not to mention it acknowledges the children every time they see it). I took them to my neighborhood framer, got them all mounted, framed and ready for the wall. It started small and has grown over the years. It’s also important to let them be part of the deciding factor of what goes up.
One of the easiest and most gratifying projects to date - and cheapest - cause as we all know, ART AIN’T CHEAP!
